Mercy & Truth Advancing Faith-Based Healthcare on the National Stage.
Mercy & Truth Healthcare Ministry was honored to be represented in Washington, D.C., at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Policy & Issues Conference. Following his appointment as Vice Chair of NACHC’s Faith-Based Task Force, CEO Brent Morris participated in national conversations focused on strengthening faith-based health centers and expanding access to care for communities across the country. This role reflects a growing recognition of the work happening every day at Mercy & Truth and the impact faith-based clinics have in meeting both physical and spiritual needs.
Throughout the conference, Mercy & Truth brought the voice of its patients and community into discussions about policy, preventive care, and whole-person health. The experience affirmed that local ministry has national influence. As additional conferences and collaborative efforts continue this year, Mercy & Truth remains committed to bringing back insight, advocacy, and opportunity that directly benefit the families served in Wyandotte and Johnson Counties.
