Local.

Our calling to serve starts in our own communities, grounded in the belief that every neighborhood matters and every person deserves the hope and healing found in Christ. Through prayer gatherings, community partnerships, and hands on outreach, we meet people where they are with compassion, humility, and love, bringing Christ’s transformative care directly to those who need it most.

24 Hours of Life-Changing Prayer.

Community members gather in worship and prayer during Mercy & Truth’s 24 Hours of Life-Changing Prayer event, creating a powerful atmosphere of faith and unity.

One of our most impactful initiatives this year was the launch of 24 Hours of Life-Changing Prayer, where churches across the metro joined together for a day of unity, intercession, and revival. The experience was so moving that we’ve now opened Lamb Auditorium for monthly community prayer gatherings.

These gatherings are open to everyone. No RSVP needed.

Mercy & Truth CEO Brent Morris supports Kansas City teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week 2025 by delivering gifts and sharing words of encouragement.

Supporting Local Schools and Families.

Mercy & Truth is honored to support local schools through tangible acts of service and encouragement. During Teacher Appreciation Week, we partnered with Frances Willard Elementary to celebrate the educators shaping the next generation.

This initiative is part of our growing commitment to serve families, educators, and youth in under-resourced communities throughout the Kansas City area.
