Boo To The Flu 2020
Boo To The Flu continued in 2020 in spite of COVID. Two hundred turkeys, food, hoodies, and cleaning products were handed out contactlessly. Flu shots were carefully administered by staff with appropriate PPE.

COVID Testing
Mercy and Truth (KCK) was selected as the first location to use Kansas Governor Laura Kelly’s COVID testing van. The event brought 225 people, incorporating five different languages, to be checked for the virus. Mercy and Truth has since hosted another testing event.

Warm up Wyandotte/Boo To The Flu 2020Warm up Wyandotte is a community event that keeps families healthy, warm and well fed. Two hundred free flu shots, turkeys and coats were successfully given away.

Muffins with the MayorMuffins with the Mayor is an informal gathering of the community that allows Unified Government Mayor, David Alvey to listen to residents concerns surrounding health and health outcomes.
