Tom Kreamer, MD
|
Dr. Tom Kreamer is Mercy and Truth’s Chief Medical Officer. He is from Prairie Village, Kansas. He completed his undergraduate work at Northwestern Univ. in Evanston, IL in 1993. Dr. Kreamer is a 1998 graduate of UMKC School of Medicine.
He then completed an internal medicine internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN followed by an emergency medicine residency at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Dr Kreamer has been a board-certified emergency medicine physician for the past 20 years practicing in multiple emergency departments within the Advent Health system. He will start accepting patients at Mercy and Truth summer of 2022. Dr. Kreamer is married and they have four children. He coaches sports teams for his kids, the family is very involved at their church, and they spend their leisure time traveling. |
Nicholas Michalski, MD |
Dr. Michalski graduated from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1980 and completed his residency there in 1983. He worked as an emergency room physician at Shawnee Mission Medical Center for four years before opening up his private practice as a family doctor in 1988. Dr. Michalski has enjoyed providing a medical home for patients of all ages.
For many of his patients, he has been their family doctor throughout their life. Dr. Michalski serves both insured and uninsured patients and accepts both Medicaid and Medicare. |
Joyce Simon, MD |
Dr. Simon was born in Wichita, KS. She received her undergraduate degree at Friends University - Wichita. She then attended the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine 1976 to 1979 and also completed her Residency at KU in 1982. Dr Simon became a faculty member at the University Of Kansas Department Of Family Practice 1982 - 1991. She then went into private practice with College Park Family Care Center for over 25 years and retired from there.
Dr. Simon enjoyed delivering babies and still enjoys OBGyn procedures such as Nexplanon insertion, Mirena insertion, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies, and cryotherapy. She has extensive experience also with skin biopsies, pediatrics and internal medicine. Dr. Simon and her husband, John, have been married over 40 years. They have two children and three grandsons. She is involved at her church and, in her spare time, she reads, rides her bike and hikes. |
Cindy Moore, APRN, FNP-C |
Cindy has been a nurse practitioner for over 20 years. You might recognize her since she has been around Mercy and Truth in one capacity or another since 2000. She currently fills the role of International Field Director but has recently rejoined the staff as a provider.
Cindy's passion is serving God and His people and has done this on many mission teams and in serving in the Mercy and Truth clinics. She received her Master's in Nursing from the University of Kansas in 1997 and has worked in family practice since that time. In addition to clinical practice, Cindy enjoys teaching and is currently adjunct faculty at two local universities helping to train the next generation of nurses and nurse practitioners. Her other passions include hanging out with her husband, Terry, their daughters and 4 grandchildren. Cindy's hobbies include reading, boating, camping and motorcycling. |
Suzanne Robinson, APRN

Suzanne started her love for healing by working with animals as a Veterinary Technician in 1984. She continued that path through the 80’s. She then joined the military in 1990 where she studied to be a laboratory technician, working on cancer research at Walter Reed. After serving her country for 10 years she decided to go back to school to become a Registered Nurse, then went on to graduate from the University of Kansas Medical College with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse degree in 2006. Suzanne has been with Mercy and Truth Medical Missions since 2008 and continues to devote her heart and soul to our mission, our patients, and the Lord.

Marcela Morales, APRN
|
Marcela was born in Kansas City, KS and graduated from Sumner High School. While at Sumner she played soccer and continued to play soccer at University of St. Mary in Leavenworth KS. She graduated from St. Mary’s with her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2014.
In 2021, Marcela earned her Master’s in Nursing and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Marcela speaks English and Spanish. She is now seeing patients at Mercy and Truth. |
Vicky Mwarey, APRN, FNP

Vicky is an ANCC board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and went to high school in Eldoret, Kenya.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Kansas. She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Public Health Nursing from MidAmerica Nazarene University and holds a post-Masters Certificate in Nursing from Graceland University. Vicky has over 15 years of nursing experience. She has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including geriatrics, orthopedics, rehab nursing, acute and chronic care management. Vicky’s passion is to provide holistic and quality care to all her patients. Vicky lives with her husband and two children. When not working Vicky loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. Vicky speaks English and Swahili. |
