How long can I stay after delivery?
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment
recommends that mothers and babies stay at the birth center a minimum of 6 hours
and not to exceed 24 hours. However, most of our mothers feel so good after
delivery they are ready to go home at 6 hours. Our nurses will then come to
your home and check on you and your baby within 24 hours of your discharge.
